I think this has to be one of my all time favourite Vanilla Pod Bakery birthday cakes that I have had the pleasure of making. I thoroughly enjoyed the creative process from start to finish. 

There were four tiers and the sponge was a very yummy Sticky Toffee flavour.  I made the sponge by using homemade sticky toffee sauce, as well interspersing chunks of toffee and fudge throughout the batter. I then sandwich it together with sticky toffee flavoured buttercream. It was very sweet and utterly delicious.

 Each of the decorations for the cake were hand made using a Sattina sugar paste and flower paste, edible printed images and edible gold paint and dust. 

The whole cake took 24 hours from start to finish to create, and stood at 20" in height.

I hope you agree that it is a very fun birthday cake and the perfect addition to a Las Vegas themed party.
